Air Force Global Stike Command commander visits Dyess
U.S. Air Force Col. Steven Beasley, 7th Bomb Wing vice commander, salutes Lt. Gen. Stephen Wilson, Air Force Global Strike Command commander, as his plane taxis to the flight line April 25, 2014, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. Wilson is responsible for organizing, training, equipping and maintaining all U.S. intercontinental ballistic missile and nuclear-capable bomber forces. The command's mission is to develop and provide combat-ready forces for nuclear deterrence and global strike operations to support the president of the United States and combatant commanders.
