Dyess Defenders, APD celebrate National Police Week

Stan Stanridge, Abilene Chief of Police, participates in a shooting competition May 14, 2014, at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The Abilene Police Department and 7th Security Forces Squadron joined in several events to honor fallen law enforcement members. Events held during National Police Week consisted of a softball game, firing competition and a moment of silence for fallen comrades.
