DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- A group of Airmen from the 7th Maintenance Operations and 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadrons ensure a bomb is put correctly under a B-1 bomber during an Operation Readiness Exercise here Nov. 7. The exercise times how well Airmen work together as a team & how fast they can get a plane ready for deployment. This exercise will also help prepare Airmen for real world missions and the upcoming Operation Readiness Inspection when the base will be looked at on its effectiveness in performing a wartime, contingency, force sustainment and operational mission.
