Abilene feast

ABILENE, Texas -- Col. Frank Earnest, 490th Civil Affairs Battalion commander, addresses more than 100 unit Reservists and their families at their annual holiday party Dec. 6. This year, the battalion's funding for the party was significantly reduced, so Dyess Airmen volunteered to cook and bring the feast to the Army Reserve Center downtown. “I’m just amazed these guys took the time to do this for us,” Colonel Earnest said.
