Weather forecasters assemble TMQ-53
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Staff Sgt. James Ellis (center), Senior Airman Ann Winters (right) and Senior Airman Sara Wauer (left), 7th Operations Support Squadron weather forecasters, forecast the weather using a Tactical Meteorological Observing System (TMQ-53) near the flighline May 12 for upcoming storms here. This instrument detects wind direction, temperature, relative humidity, lightning, rain conditions, cloud depth and visibility.
