ABILENE, Texas— A lioness and lion nap peacefully May 15 here at the zoo. Lions were only one attraction of many that were open during the “Zoolute to Dyess” event. Annually on May 15 the Abilene Zoological Society hosts a day of appreciation dedicated to members of the armed forces, retirees and their family members.
