DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas-- Devon Grenfell, 11 years old, does push-ups during physical training at Operation Dyess Kids June 4 here. Devon is the son of Jeff Grenfell, 7th Equipment Maintenance Squadron. The purpose of Operation Dyess Kids was to help the children understand why parents deploy and what they go through during a deployment, as well as to encourage parent-child communication.
