317th Airlift Group makes big drop
DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—Load crew members from the 40th Airlift Squadron, secure bundles on the C-130J Super Hercules June 17 as part of a 22-bundle mass container delivery system airdrop at Bronte Drop Zone over Bronte city to demonstrate the capabilities of the C-130J-model. The regular C-130 Hercules’ are only capable of carrying 16 bundles. The 317th Airlfit Group will be training more on this to help prepare them for deployments.
