DYESS AIF FORCE BASE, Texas—Staff Sgt. Terri Williams, 7th Civil Engineer Squadron, allows children from the Child Development Center to pet the snake she is holding here June 23 as part of a summer reading program at the library. Members from the 7th Civil Engineer Squadron brought snakes and taught the children how to identify and handle chance encounters with these animals. The summer reading program consists of informative speakers, crafts, snacks and prizes to entice children to read and learn.
