DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas—Staff Sgt. Gerald Allen (left) and Airman Tyler Ellie, 7th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighters, put out a fire during a training exercise here, Sept. 30. The squadron has more than 55 firefighters and operates more than 15 fire trucks. Some days the station gets up to ten calls and the firefighters are required to be on scene within five minutes of the call.
