Senior Airman Christopher M. Young, 9th Air Support Operations Squadron, Fort Hood, Texas, is awarded the Academic Excellence Award at an Airmen Leadership School graduation here Feb. 15 by Tech Sgt. Chad R. Kirkland, AFSA chapter 1056 president. The Academic Excellence Award is sponsored by AFSA chapter 1056; the award is given to the student who demonstrates academic excellence in all summative, objective and performance evaluations.
