1. WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS? Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. The Department of the Air Force is responding appropriately to protect the health of the force and maintain operational readiness.

3. WHAT TO DO IF I THINK I HAVE CORONAVIRUS? Anyone with a respiratory illness should not assume it is COVID-19, as it is more likely to be the seasonal flu or the common cold. However, patients who traveled in the past 14 days to an area where COVID-19 has been identified as having community transmission and currently have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, should contact their healthcare provider immediately.
