7/1/2010 - DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- The 4th Annual free Tye Fourth of July Fireworks Show and Military Appreciation Day takes place July 3 beginning at 4 p.m. at Rister Park in Tye, Texas.
Games, concession stands, local musicians and vendors will be available throughout the day.
The event is sponsored by Big Country Support the Troops, Taylor Electric Cooperative, WesTex Connect, the City of Tye, Cumulus Radio and other organizations.
Rister Park is located off exit 277 from I-20 West, then drive south on Highway 707. For more information, call the Tye Chamber of Commerce at (325) 695-8253.
