HAWC offers microwave cooking class to dorm residents

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas – Airman 1st Class Briggen Baker, 7th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, prepares food to be cooked March 18 during a microwave cooking class at the Health and Wellness Center here. The class is designed to teach dorm residents the flexibility of microwave cooking so they're not bound to the dining facility. Airmen learned to cook cinnamon rolls, chicken dip and sweet and sour chicken. Dyess Health and Wellness Center is offering nutrition bingo March 24 from 5-6 p.m., kids healthy snack class March 25 from 10-11 a.m. and a snack bar challenge that ends March 25 as part of National Nutrition Month.
